FULLMOON RITE...founded in the fall of 2022... is a one-man project from the lower franconian forests in
Bavaria.
The intention behind this project is to resurrect the spirit and tradition of the glory days of Black Metal back in the mid-90s.
No ingratiation to trends, no modern influences, just simple and primitive old-styled black metal, which comes straight from the bottom of my heart.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!!

Beyond The Palest Star is among the best black metal albums of this year, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it lands at the top for a lot of fans. Get out of their way; album three will no doubt be pantheon level for the genre. The growth from the last release is quite substantial. Cosmic Judgement comes for you!

What an irritatingly intense journey. Suffocating in the Current of Time is exactly that: a suffocating experience, sludgy and blackened and grimy and FUCKING GOOD. This is like being dragged all the way through a sewer pipe, face down: all the grime will make you writhe in disgust, and as the layers of your body are being rubbed down by the ground, the agony will drive you insane. The end will come slowly and be gruesome - but cathartic all the same. It's indescribably good. Praise the plague.
